Wireshark 1.12.3 for Mac crashes upon startup

I just downloaded the new Wireshark for Mac 1.12.3 and it crashes immediately upon startup. I'm running Yosemite. Here's the dump. What am I doing wrong?

Does /usr/X11 exist? If not you may need to reinstall XQuartz or manually link /opt/X11 as described at https://ask.wireshark.org/questions/36367/wireshark-doesnt-start-after-upgrading-to-mac-os-x-yosemite.

Also note that the 1.99.x release train does not require X11, although you might want to wait for 1.99.3 if you choose to go that route.

1.99.3 works mostly fine on Yosemite (10.10.2) except I have had it crash with large Windows captured PCAP files.
