Hi I am a new wireshark user. I would like to know if there is anyway that I can use wireshark to measure bandwidth usage. Not really, Wireshark is a network packet analysis tool concentrating on the contents of packets, not the overall flow rate. Wireshark does have some statistics about data transfer but they aren't what you really want. rats :-) I tried all the basic ones already I was hoping wireshark would give some deeper info...
Exactly what is it you're trying to find out about your network and why aren't the "basic" tools sufficient?
