Filter applies as ‘Not selected’ when ‘Selected’ is used

I am working on wireshark 1.8.5, and facing this particular issue. Whenever I apply a filter on any field, its being applied as NOT of that. Help.

Hi,

this is a known issue that got fixed in 1.8.6 (see bug 8297). Either upgrade your Wireshark installation or use "prepare a filter" as a workaround.
