Capture HTTP requests from my iPhone (Analyzing an app)

Hi,

what i want to achieve is to analyze an iPhone app. I have Backtrack installed and a monitor mode enabled wireless device. I can set my iPhone as well as the device to join the same wireless network if needed.

So far i tried to capture all packets floating around with my device and filtering out packets sent from the iPhone, without much success. As soon as the device is used in a monitor mode i can not see any http packets.

It really comes down to the question: How do i properly capture (http)-packets from a specific device (iPhone) either within the same network or within the wifi range.
