Install on MacBook Pro

I have a MacBook Pro running 10.5.8 the I am trying to install on. I have read the post for the 10.6.6 but the ChmonBPF does not exist on my machine. Can you help me.

Try installing Wireshark 1.6; it has an installer that should install the ChmodBPF startup item for you. Pre-1.6 Wiresharks were drag-install, but that made it painful to install ChmodBPF.
