I've set my configuration to receive individual mails when a question is asked/answered/etc. If I want to respond to the question, it would be nice if I could just click on a link in the EMail to bring up the question in my browser. I just clicked on the link in the notification I received when you answered my question about notification mails and it got me straight to the webpage. Is that not working for you? Or did Gerald quickly added that functionality? answered 15 Sep '10, 12:39 SYN-bit ♦♦ |
Ah ! My Email reader config is set to "text view only" (which is the way I want it to be).
It appears that the "link to the question" only shows up if I view the EMail as html.
The text view does show a link to "updating subscriptions" so it is possible.
